New Hope exists to help provide for the physical, emotional, and spiritual need
of the Anchorage community, the State of Alaska, and the world in which we live.
Through meaningful partnerships with state agencies, local churches, and caring
individuals, New Hope is able to provide the largest mobile food bank in Alaska.
Their emergency services division helps with urgent financial needs, and the
clothes closet provides young and old alike with needed garments. A special
Kid’s Cache provides clothing and supplies for young people that are in foster
care.
Many different cultural groups call New Hope home to fill the spiritual needs of
a diverse population.
Specialized programs dealing with anger management, domestic violence victims,
and batterer’s intervention help heal a broken and hurting population.
Special education and training seminars and workshops are held to help pastors,
parents, managers, and others to communicate more efficiently, learn new ways to
interact with the world around us and affect in a most positive Godly way, the
occupants that inhabit this space.
